Idiocracy reviews

I got this movie, Idiocracy, by Mike Judge the other day. I watched it and in the first few minutes they told it is set 500 years in the future. Before I got the movie I was reading about it from many websites who have reviews of the movie. I thought you can only write reviews about movies you've actually seen.

Sites like Metacritic, Worst Previews, and Zap 2 It - to name but few - claim it is set 1000-years in the future.

I find this funny in this context.
